What can I say? This place is so cute! It has the perfect feel of a Café. The staff here are so friendly and the food is so good. My recommendation is Rebecca's famous chicken salad on a croissant.
This is our favorite lunch time place to eat in Gainesville, GA. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. It is right in the heart of the old downtown district and has indoor and outdoor seating. We have eaten there at least 10 times and tried several items on the menu. The spinach quiche is one of our favorites We also love the Rebecca's Chicken Salad sandwich and the broccoli raisin salad. The owner always greets us with a smile and has taken a personal interest in us.
Stopped in here for a quick lunch earlier this week and it didn't disappoint. Had a half ham and swiss sandwich and a bowl of tomato basil soup. Both were excellent, clearly fresh made and very tasty. The place is brightly lit, lots of tables to choose from and even though I was there at lunch and they were busy, the service was fast, efficient and everyone there is very friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you are on the square looking for a great meal.
I'm sure I left a review before because I love this place. Today I'm here for the dumplings. When I walked in I was stunned. I wasn't sure if I saw boiled eggs in the dumplings or if those were onions. Me being a foodie I was hoping it was boiled eggs because I love them. Can you believe they have chicken and dumpling with boil eggs in them. The best I ever tasted in my life. This really is soul food. I'm so happy this is the kind of food I grew up on and I missed it so much! The owner mentioned his grandma could control him with the chicken and dumplings growing up and I see exactly why!
Great food and service! We will definitely be back. We parked in the parking garage and it was a short walk.
